From News 12 Brooklyn:
BROOKLYN – One in seven New Yorkers struggle with learning disabilities, according to the Learning Disabilities Association of New York City.
The group says programs that help teens with learning disabilities completely disappear after the student graduates high school.
They say that parents should look into resources on college campuses that will help students transition from high school to college.
The Learning Disabilities Association helps older teens and young adults with educational support, job readiness and job placement.
