Career Transitions began in 2009 and serves adults, as well as teens transitioning out of high school, who need comprehensive career and job support.  LDANYC support includes eligibility screening for VESID (Vocational and Educational Services for Individuals with Disabilities, New York State Education Department) services, career assessment, job training, job placement, and job retention services.  Career Transitions also provides support for college admissions and post-secondary educational accommodations.  Individuals admitted into this program will be screened for VESID eligibility onsite at LDANYC offices.
